One hundred fifty four (154) out of three hundred twelve (312) examinees or 49.36 percent passed the Nationwide CES Written Examination (CES WE) held last December 4, 2016 in three testing centers namely: University of the Philippines-Quezon City, University of Cebu-Cebu City and San Pedro College-Davao City.

Of the one hundred fifty four (154), 69% came from Quezon City testing center, 15% from Cebu and 16% from Davao.

The top ten (10) passers are first-time CES WE examinees and they are as follows:

Mr. Christian Joseph M. Regunay, who obtained the highest rating of 91.18%, is presently Project Development Officer V at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Prior to DWSD, he was an IT Specialist at the IBM Solutions Delivery Philippines, where he received the Bayani Award in 2013. In 2006, he graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of the Philippines-Los BaƱos. He also finished his Master of Science in Computer Science in 2010 from the same university (Diliman campus). His field of specialization is Information Technology/Management Information System.

Second placer Mr. William Roderick R. Fallorin obtained a rating of 89.59%. He is presently an Education Program Supervisor at the Department of Education (DepEd)-Iba, Zambales, where he started as Secondary School Teacher in 2004. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education at Magsaysay Memorial College in 2003 and Master of Education at De La Salle University in 2010. In 2003, he passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers with a rating of 90.6% (8th place) and the National Qualifying Exam for School Heads in 2013 with a rating of 99.97% (2nd place). His field of expertise is Education.

Third placer Ms. Regina May M. Cajucom obtained a rating of 89.22%. She is the Chief Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-Baguio City. She graduated as Cum Laude at the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a degree in AB English Studies in 1995. In 2000, she finished her Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Cordilleras and passed the Philippine Bar Examinations in the same year. Her field of specialization includes Arts/Humanities, Research and Law.

All successful CES WE examinees may call the Eligibility and Rank Appointment Division (ERAD) at telephone number 9514981 loc. 100 or 832 for the schedule and other details of the Assessment Center, the second examination stage for CES eligibility.
