Message from the
Chairman of the Board

Thank you for visiting the CESB website.

As the newly elected CESB Chairman, I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my commitment to usher in major policy changes that will render our CES policies more relevant and responsive to the emerging concerns of the CES community.

We hope that though this medium, we can keep you updated and informed at these policy changes. We are currently enhancing the CESB website to include new features such as the e-Public Manager. By the end of the first quarter, we shall be launching the CESB Interactive Website to bring the CESB closer to you and the rest of the CES community.

We hope to reach as many members of the CES community to make our policy making process more participatory. I am pleased to announce that we shall be conducting Board meetings in the regions, making transparent our policy making activities and bringing them closer to the the CES members. We will also be pleased to receive your feedback on any matter of our mutual interest.

Be informed, be heard, log on to www.cesboard.gov.ph.

Message from the CESB
Executive Director

Mabuhay and welcome to the virtual home of the Philippine career executive service (CES) officers!

This site seeks to connect the more than three thousand strong members of the CES community. It also endeavors to inform on new policies, initiatives and events while facilitating access to opportunities for enhancing professional development.

Within the year, we hope to improve this facility to offer online services that would enable direct and real-time transactions with the CES community in areas such as the administration of the Career Executive Service Performance Evaluation System (CESPES) and the provision of selected training modules, among others. It is also envisioned that with better technological capabilities, this site will widen the forum for engaging CES members in the process of formulating policies affecting them.

As we continue to meet the challenge of playing a crucial role in bringing “change where it is needed, expertise where it is missing and leadership where it is wanting” in our respective corners of the Philippine bureaucracy, we commit to look for ways by which we can better serve a stronger and more dynamic CES community.

Maria Anthonette Velasco-Allones
Executive Director
