CES Circle Forum: “Mainstreaming e-(Effective+Efficient)-Governance for Performance Excellence in the Public Sector”.

The CESB shall conduct the 2013 CIRCLE Forum on the theme: “Mainstreaming e-(Effective+Efficient)-Governance for Performance Excellence in the Public Sector”.

It is the sixth session for the year and the forty-third in the series. The forum is scheduled on 22 August 2013 (Thursday), 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Harold’s Hotel, Gorordo Avenue corner Rosal St., Lahug Cebu City.

The topic explores the diverse systems, tools, techniques and processes in evolving, institutionalizing and promoting quality standards; improving and sustaining productivity; and in harnessing ICT innovations in public and private sector organizations. The topic establishes the relationships between these initiatives with the aim to achieve culture-change and to improve the delivery of goods and services to different publics.

It relates these initiatives with the purpose of expanding the scope, enhancing the quality, and deepening the impact of governance resulting in meaningful and sustainable improvements in the nation’s quality of life as a measure and standard for organization performance effectiveness.

It showcases the roadmap or journey undertaken by exemplary agencies, local government units and private sector organizations in developing and harnessing successful, time-tested and cutting-edge reforms to achieve meaningful and sustainable changes in the quality of life of people, institutions and the environment.

The CES CiRCLE Forum is a learning session conducted by the CESB for Career Executive Service Officers (CESOs) and eligibles. CiRCLE stands for Creative Innovations and Reforms for Committed Leadership and Effectiveness. By its name, the forum serves as a platform for thought leaders, subject matter experts and public service exemplars to dialogue and to share insights, ideas, lessons and experiences with career service executives in the hope of deepening and sustaining collective inspiration to improve leadership and governance.

Attendance in and completion of the forum earns an equivalent of four (4) hours of training credited to each participant. A minimal Registration Fee of Seven Hundred Peso (PhP 700.00) shall be charged to each participant.
