CESB keeps ISO Certification
November 22, 2012

The Career Executive Service Board passed the ISO 9001:2008 audit for the third straight year covering its Eligibility and Rank Appointment processes.   During the second surveillance audit conducted by the TUV Nord on November 19, 2012, the CESB was noted to have successfully fulfilled the requirements of the Standard. The CESB obtained the ISO Certification of its Eligibility and Rank Appointment Processes in October 2010.

Earlier this year, His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III presented the Plaque of Recognition to CESB and fifty-nine (59) other ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certified government agencies in a Recognition Ceremony in Malacañang.

The adoption of Quality Management System is mandated under Executive Order No. 605 of 2007, “Institutionalizing the Structure, Mechanisms, and Standards to Implement the Government Quality Management Program”.  E.O. 605 directed all government agencies to establish and institutionalize a quality management system as a strategy to promote transparency and accountability in governance.

The CESB’s ISO Certification signifies the CESB’s continuous commitment towards providing quality service to CES aspirant and CESOs.
